Our Work
Knuckles Reforestation Project
In 2019, Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority carefully identified some remote villages for the implementation of up to 7 Rural Electrification Pilot Projects. The objective of this initiative was to demonstrate the viability of decentralized mini-grids for rural electrification in the Knuckles Forest Reserve.
Kurunegala Reforestation Project
Kurunagala Reforestation project involves the establishment of more than 400 types of various fruit plants that is targeted to be planted every year. The area of this land is close to 10 acres and consists of over 300 coconut trees.
Katunayaka Urban Reforestation Project
As a result, urban trees seem to be more promising for adaptation than mitigation measures for climate change and pollution. This is largely because of space restrictions that limit the size of urban tree canopies in comparison to the existing level of emissions.

Our organization plays a crucial role in protecting forests that absorb and store carbon emissions, playing a key role in the uphill battle against climate change. By partnering with organizations, business, and governments, we ensure that forests are monitored and successfully preserved. In addition, we work to secure private funding and donations for conservation efforts and aid local and indigenous communities in protecting forests in their homelands.

Join us in our mission to expand the protected ocean areas worldwide and develop sustainable methods for supporting marine fisheries. We accomplish this by supporting countries in safeguarding and supervising their waters, integrating coastal ecosystems into climate strategies, and challenging harmful practices in the seafood industry.

It's important to us to support economies that are self-sustaining and conservation-based, especially in areas that are crucial for both people and nature. We work on developing new funding and production models that prioritise conservation whilst protecting essential resources.
